What’s New

The Supligen Allmax Fitness Challenge will be contested in three different sessions over two days; October 16th and 17th, 2015.

There will be a total of 7 different challenges designed to test all elements of fitness including cardio, strength, power, speed agility and quickness.

After the first 3 challenges scores will be tallied and the field will be reduced to the top 24 male and female scores.

Here are the 3 preliminary challenges:

EVENT 1 – Friday, October 16th Usain Bolt Sport Complex
Guinness World Record Burpee Challenge sponsored by the BHTA
Max burpees in one minute (60s)
Winner will be the person who completes the greatest number of legal reps in one minute

EVENT 2 – Friday, October 16th Usain Bolt Sport Complex
Sagicor Cardio challenge
Athletes will compete over 800m/1000m or 1200m
The actual distance will be chosen on the evening just prior to the event
Athletes may wear approved track spikes
This will be a timed final and winners will be determined by the fastest times to complete the distance

Event 3 – Saturday, October 17th 7am Boatyard
Barbados Blue Open Water Swim
Athletes will complete an open water swim
Distance will be either 800/900 or 1000m
This will be a timed final and the winner will be determined by the fastest times in and out of the water.
